  • The e-ride linkage runs stiff so we recommend getting the 450LB unless you jump big.
  • The Talaria Sting runs soft so we recommend getting the 550.

This is our favorite rear shock besides the EXT Arma and its a crazy good price!

Advanced Shock Absorption💥 - The RAB53RV rear shock absorber features an external nitrogen reservoir and a sophisticated oil-gas separation damping structure. Designed to provide superior shock absorption, it effectively reduces impact and enhances riding comfort across a wide range of conditions.

Versatile Performance💥 - Ideal for E-BIKES, bicycles, and off-road electric bikes, the RAB53RV is built to handle diverse terrains and challenging rides. It offers comprehensive adjustability with multi-stage rebound, high-speed compression, and low-speed compression damping settings. Customization options are available upon request.

Durable Construction💥 - Constructed with AL6061-T6 forged aluminum for the upper mount and AL6061-T6 aluminum alloy for the main tube, this shock absorber ensures exceptional strength and durability. The 42CRMO main shaft and 55CRSI spring wire further enhance its robustness and reliability.

Precision Adjustments💥 - Equipped with multi-stage rebound and compression damping adjustments, the RAB53RV allows you to fine-tune the shock absorber for your specific riding style. The C-ring retainer spring base ensures stability during rides, while the easy-to-remove spring design simplifies maintenance.

Enhanced Comfort💥 - The shock absorber features a rubber bladder in the air chamber, reducing heat-induced damping fade and providing a finer response to small bumps. The low-speed compression damping controls the shock absorber's performance during gradual impacts like pedal strokes and rough terrain, while the high-speed compression damping handles sudden impacts and high-speed encounters, ensuring stability and control during intense riding moments.

High and Low-Speed Compression Damping Explained:

  • Low-Speed Compression Damping (LSC): This setting controls the shock absorber's response to gradual impacts and low-speed movements. It’s essential for reducing bounce and instability during everyday riding activities such as pedaling, climbing stairs, or traversing uneven surfaces. Proper adjustment of LSC enhances ride stability and comfort.

  • High-Speed Compression Damping (HSC): This setting manages the shock absorber's response to rapid impacts and high-speed situations, such as drops or sudden bumps. It prevents the shock absorber from becoming too soft during intense impacts, maintaining control and stability to prevent loss of balance and potential accidents.

FAQ

Q: How does the RAB53RV compare to other REAR SHOCKS in terms of high-speed and low-speed compression damping?

A: The RAB53RV stands out with its multi-stage high-speed and low-speed compression damping adjustments. Unlike many other rear shocks, which offer limited adjustment ranges, the RAB53RV allows for precise tuning of both high-speed and low-speed compression settings. This means you can customize the rear shock’s response to different riding conditions, from handling sudden impacts to smoothing out rough terrain. This flexibility provides a more tailored riding experience, ensuring that the rear shock performs optimally whether you’re hitting high-speed drops or navigating technical trails.
